The relationship between patient and physician is based on trust. Open and honest communication is required to develop a partnership that will achieve and maintain optimal health.

I enjoy the role of a primary care physician. It allows me to see and work with patients over time. I value these relationships. I am honored to take part in making positive changes in the lives of my patients.

I saw the difference one can make in a persons life with compassion and caring for them . My Uncle had a severe form of joint disease and an orthopedic surgeon would make house calls for him in spite of his busy schedule. I later learned he was department chair and nationally renowned surgeon but still had the compassion to do a house call on a patient who was immobile. My interests include sleep apnea, metabolic syndrome, diabetes, hypertension, heart failure, rheumatology, etc.
