I opened a "free" checking account in 2023. The only stipulation was to open with $10, I put over $100 in but don't use the account so never really thought about it or thought I had to check up on...

KEY BANK runs on 3rd world Principle. They hold your check for 9 Business days (14 days total !!!) . They even hold your Cash $ deposit , even to the teller!!! Go figer! Customer service...

Right across the street from my new condo. Convenient to be sure, but the line took forever. There was only one teller helping the customers while the other bank people sat at their desks doing...
