History
Karen Mullen has photographed professionally since 1983, since graduating with a Bachelor of Journalism through the University of Missouri. She worked with stock photography for 14 years, then began specializing in portraiture in 1997. She now teaches at Whatcom Community College and Skagit Valley College in continuing education and she teaches privately. Karen is a Certified Professional Photographer (one of only 21 in Washington State), and earned a Fellowship of Photography degree in 2011 through the Professional Photographers of Washington.
Specialties
Karen specializes in three areas: photo education, photo tours and photography as interior decor.
