Operational for more than 50 years, Community Psychiatric Clinic has been providing community-based behavioral healthcare services. It is a nonprofit organization that serves nearly 5,000 people a year with a variety of mental health services, including community-based care for people with psychiatric disabilities; counseling for children, adults, couples and families; vocational programs; chemical dependency recovery programs; and housing services. Its staff includes child mental health specialists, chemical dependency counselors, psychiatric nurses and a board-certified psychiatrist with a specialization in children. The goals of its child and family services are to improve both individual and family functioning through stabilizing problem behaviors and enhancing parenting skills. Community Psychiatric Clinic is located in Seattle.
