Founded in 1975, the Seattle Chinatown International District Preservation and Development Authority is a community development authority that works to improve public safety, affordable housing, transportation, marketing, business development and parking facilities. It owns and manages nine neighborhood properties that include more than 400 affordable housing units for over 700 residents.
