Island Time Kid's Place

Welcome to Island Time Kid’s Program, a children’s outreach program of Island Time Ministries in Seattle. Our mission is to offer high-quality and affordable activities for children in a safe and nurturing environment. We believe in providing children with choices to develop social skills, character, and self-awareness through a variety of stimulating activities.

Directed by Cheryl Snyder and Rev. Stephen Coates, our dedicated staff focuses on fostering positive personal development, values exploration, and decision-making. From educational to recreational activities, we aim to strike a balance between structure and spontaneity in a community atmosphere filled with games, crafts, drama, science, and more. Your child will have the chance to explore mindfulness, yoga, self-defense classes, and other enriching experiences.

At Island Time Kid’s Program, we prioritize instilling values like kindness, compassion, respect, and self-control in children. Through mindfulness practices and an emphasis on interconnectedness with all living beings, we create a holistic learning environment that nurtures both the mind and spirit of every participant.
