Operating since 1973, Island Books is one of the oldest independent bookstores in the Seattle area. We are conveniently located between Seattle and Bellevue on Mercer Island. We are a women-led and family-owned small business. We offer a wide variety of books for adults, teens and children with a staff of professional booksellers to help you find the perfect book. In addition, we also have a wide selection of unique gifts, interesting games, challenging puzzles, and educational toys.
