Hunt Middle School

Hunt Middle School is a coeducational institution that offers academic education and enrichment programs to students in grades six through eight. The school has a parent-teacher association that works to strengthen public education through parent and community involvement. The school organizes a range of sporting activities that include football, cheerleading, track and field, wrestling, basketball and volleyball. It has a media center has a library that supports the school curriculum and assists students in the use of current and appropriate information, as well as encourages reading as a lifetime activity. The school offers education in various subjects, including math, science, computer applications, health and physical education, arts and social studies. Established in 1958, Hunt Middle School is a part of Tacoma Public Schools and is located in Tacoma, Wash.
