Home Attendant Care, founded in 1983, is a family-owned agency that provides assisted living services in Whatcom, Skagit, Snohomish, Island and San Juan counties in Washington. Its case managers are available 24 hours, seven days a week and coordinate care needs of the patients with the physician, skilled care providers and medical health professionals. Its personal care services include assistance with toileting and incontinence care, ambulation, self-medication and dressing. The center also offers homemaker services, such as light housework and laundry, cooking and preparation of nutritious meals, safety supervision, recreation stimulation and companionship. It also provides transportation for shopping, personal services, medical appointments, outings and visiting friends and standby assistance for bathing, walking and exercise.
