This allows owners and builders to take this information to bankers and provide very detailed budget information to secure financing on projects. Our commercial division provides the same services as our residential division with a few differences. We have learned through listening to our clients that it is important to them to use the same contractor to do the sitework and utilities. Offering full service in Division 2 work enables us to come onto the site and do everything from clearing, demolition, grading, utilities, trucking, rockeries, and paving. Having fewer subcontractors reduces "headaches" for the general and consolidates responsibilities. Nelson & Sons Construction Co, Inc. understands that the general contractor likes to work with the same superintendent throughout the job, therefore we appoint a superintendent to stay on site for the duration of the project. The on-site superintendent knows the job intimately and is able to answer questions on what was done, where things are located, and is knowledgeable on all the happenings of the job from start to finish. The superintendent also develops a relationship with the general contractor's superintendent, the inspectors and the other subcontractors on the job.
