Global Midwifery Services

Global Midwifery Services, led by certified professional midwife Faisa Farole, is dedicated to providing compassionate and culturally sensitive care to black families in Des Moines, WA. As the first Black woman-owned birth center in Washington, their mission is to ensure that black lives are given a fair start from the beginning.

With a focus on supporting black mothers and babies, Global Midwifery Services aims to create a nurturing environment where black aspiring midwives can also receive training. Through donations and community support, they are working towards establishing the Federal Way Birth Center to further their vision of inclusive and empowering maternity care.
