Founded in 1972, Giddens School is a private educational institution that has an enrollment of more than 170 students in pre-kindergarten through grade five. The school is a member of the Pacific Northwest Association of Independent Schools. It offers classes in math, science, English and social studies. Giddens School s Rainbow Kids' Club s activities include photography, digital imagery and multimedia projects. The school features a library, gym and playground. It has been cited as a model of multicultural education by the Southern Poverty Law Center. In addition, Giddens School maintains a family-staff alliance and provides after-school programs.
