Brothers, Roger & Bob Gamache, came from four generations of agricultural farming and in 1982 they decided to establish roots in the Columbia Valley located near the White Bluffs. By focusing on the unique interaction of soil, climate and vines, they have grown premium grapes for many highly acclaimed Washington State wineries over the years. In 2002, the brothers decided it was time to showcase the vineyard site by establishing Gamache Vintners winery. With acclaimed consulting winemaker and friend, Charlie Hoppes, they were able to carry on the legacy by taking the pure expression of the fruit and the essence of the vineyard to create the Gamache Vineyard and Heritage series'.
