History

Started apartments in March of 2007. Light rail still was not completed for a year or two. The street was still being constructed with concrete and steel. Finally the sidewalks began to form and some bushes were planted next to them. Volia! the City of Seattle finally had it's first light rail that had it's first run on July 14, 2009. Getting to the airport or into the city or to Husky Stadium on the light rail is just $2.40 or less if you purchase an Orca card. A lot less of a cost for the car plus parking and less frustration in the traffic.Named after my youngest daughter as she was the youngest. The original building was a Motel to help house visitors to Seattle for the 1962 Worlds Fair. As you may know it was billed as Century 21 a glimpse of the future after Sputnik was launched in 1958. Technology including the space shuttle was developed at Boeing here in Seattle in the 60's and 70's and there are some other company's here in town that are on the cutting edge of the future.

Specialties

1 bedroom/1 bath apartments near Columbia City. They're about 4 blocks from the light rail. Some have been recently renovated- laminated floors and appliances include: stove, refrigerator, and laundry facility on site. Columbia city is 3 blocks away with 4-6 restaurants, 2 banks, a grocery store and movie theater. Also a bakery and florist. The light rail can go as far north as Husky Stadium in the U District. Some animals allowed by permission - a pet agreement and additional deposit is required.

Older apartment on busy MLK. Rents are cheap is a plus. Noise from street a minus. Close in to town. Access to light rail is a plus, but you need to walk 4 blocks to get to the Columbia City Station.
