Fun Junk was started in 2007 in an old building and gas station (circa 1930) on a historical corner of west Olympia. It started simply as a place to buy and sell vintage and antique items. It has evolved into a store that is jam-packed with curated, used old-stuff and has become a destination of sorts for people in the area and those visiting from out of town. In addition to offering vintage merchandise, it is also a place where we sell the items we make from vintage goods. Pillows from old wool blankets, bags from re-purposed canvas, and jackets from vintage quilts. We also make jewelry from reclaimed copper and brass, typewriter keys, watch parts, and more. About five years ago, the Licorice Boutique was added. Licorice lovers from all over visit to enjoy the mostly Dutch licorices that are offered. Future plans include expanding the licorice offerings and marketing them on a grander scale

Love this place. Contrary to the negative reviews it is not at all overpriced. Only people who don't often shop in vintage stores would think that... most vintage stores these days are very high...
