Fred Russo, DAOM EAMP

History

Building on the basis of undergraduate studies in nursing, Dr. Russo went on to earn a Master's Degree of Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine at the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in San Diego, California. He then earned his Doctorate in Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine at Bastyr University. Dr. Russo furthered his education by studying at the Sichuan Combination of Traditional Chinese Medicine & Western Medicine Hospital, the Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and the Hubei College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in China, receiving Certification in Traditional Chinese Medicine Oncology during these studies. He received certification in advanced acupuncture training in Hubei, China and is board certified in Oriental Medicine by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine. Bringing all of this knowledge back with him to the States, Dr. Fred Russo opened and continues to maintain his own private practice based in Seattle, WA.

Dr. Russo uses mindful combinations of acupuncture, herbal medicine, food therapy, lifestyle counseling, Tai Chi, and breathing exercises to help his patients heal. Seeing each patient as a fully unique case allows him to chart a defined course carefully suited to address each individual's specific needs. Specializing in holistic and evidence-based approaches to supporting general health and wellness, Dr. Russo provides his patients with all the tools they need to reclaim a natural state of happiness, health, and overall vitality. Dr. Fred Russo's practice accepts most forms of health insurance and offers customized treatment paths in Acupuncture, Cupping, Acupressure, Qigong, and Tai Chi. He is also trained and certified to recommend and incorporate natural supplements.
