History

I started this practice as a way for those seeking therapeutic services to gain the resources they need to be successful and have richer lived experience. I aimed to offer services that would fill the gap and meet the needs of folks from varying cultural backgrounds and rarely explored developmental stages or difficult conflicts. I am one of the few providers in Seattle who offers Couples therapy in both English and Spanish. I, also, wanted to build a practice for seekers; people who want to integrate a sense of lived spirituality into their lives without formalized religion or in addition to it. Therapy and helping folks is a passion of mine and this therapy practice is a reflection of it.

Specialties

Building a lasting sense of agency in clients to live the life or relationship they'd love, is my goal. I offer individual and couples therapy services. I seek to work collaboratively with clients to identify the root causes of the roadblocks or disruptions in their life that led them to therapy. I have no fear of really getting somewhere with clients. I get into the muddy, less glamorous dynamics to uncover what's really at the heart things for them. Together with you, I work as an attentive and empathic process consultant: identifying perceptions and damaging cycles to reorient you partner in order to create opportunities for vulnerability and understanding intrapersonally and interpersonally. The goal is for you to see yourself again and to see those around you without placing blame or shame on anyone. By doing so, we put into practice new approaches and help you gain skills that will enable success in your everyday life independent of therapy. Ultimately, I venture to make therapy a safe space where individuals can be seen, heard and can grow in a direction that aligns with their values and/or goals. I'm currently a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapy Associate in WA with a masters in Couples & Family Therapy.
