Flowers on Woodworth

History

The florist business itself dates back to 1971 with 2 prior owners. We changed the look and the concept when we bought it in 2015. The owners are Wendy and Mindi. Two friends that worked together at the previous shop, Interior Gardens, which closed this year. We didn't want to see our community without a full service shop, so decided to jump in with both feet and open Flowers on Woodworth in the Interior Gardens location. We have over 50 years design experience between us. Doing well over a 1000 weddings and large special events for several Seattle companies. We've decorated Safeco field, Seahawk Stadium, Union Station and the list goes on.

Specialties

We are a full service florist and distinctive gift shop nestled in the town of Sedro Woolley. Our specialty is custom sympathy tributes. If you have an idea we can probably figure out how to take care of the mechanics of it. We've done floral guitars (even one for Burl Ives' service years ago), a floral quilt, an easel spray with fishing poles as the base, a floral 3D teddy bear, things for hunters, gardeners etc. Let us customize something for you. We pride ourselves in excellent customer service. And we're proud to serve our community, keeping as much as possible local, even many of the flowers. We will go the extra mile for you, guaranteed! The shop offers jewelry, garden art, antiques, photography and other specialty items designed by only local artists. We have a large inventory of fresh cut flowers and plants, both indoor and out. And we deliver to all of the beautiful Skagit Valley.
