Fleur de Lys Fencing Club
The Fleur de Lys Fencing Club, established in 1981, is one of the longest continually operating fencing clubs in the Seattle metropolitan area. As a not-for-profit sports club and a member of the United States Fencing Association, it offers instruction for both beginning and intermediate fencers at the Loyal Heights Community Center, as well as club fencing for advanced fencers at the Ballard Community Center.
Fencing, a sport included in every modern Olympic Games since 1896, combines athleticism with skill, making it accessible to individuals of all ages and athletic abilities. The club emphasizes safety and sportsmanship, ensuring that participants can compete in a secure environment with proper protective equipment and established rules.
