First Commercial Properties was founded in 1992 for the purpose of managing multi-family housing and land-lease communities. As owners of multi-family projects, First Commercial recognized this industry as particularly under-served and full of potential to establish long lasting relationships and improve communities for the betterment of both the owners and tenants. In 1980 our founder joined forces with several friends and purchased their first community in Gallatin County, Montana. Following this successful venture, they purchased another property in the Whitefish, Montana area. The development and improvement of these properties sparked their love of the industry and they discovered a winning formula for life and business. Shortly thereafter First Commercial Properties was born. By putting integrity and respect first, FCP has continued to grow with current operations in Washington, Oregon, and Idaho. FCP's founders learned early on that business works best when both sides win.
