First B.A.S.E. was founded in 1992 by parents who wanted an alternative approach to their children's before and after school care program. The pre-kindergarten program was added in 2009 after the Orca school moved from the Columbia School building to the Whitworth School Building at our present location.
Specialties
First B.A.S.E. offers a pre-kindergarten preschool program for children who are four years old by August 31. We also offer before and after school care for children in grades K-5 who attend Orca K-8 school. Space permitting, we can offer care for children attending other local schools providing parents can make arrangements for transportation either privately or with Seattle Public Schools. First B.A.S.E. also offers a summer camp experience for nine weeks during the months of June - August.
