Eastside Catholic High School, located in Bellevue, Wash., is a faith-based educational community. Founded in 1980, the school is owned by parents and governed by an elected board of trustees. It is a coeducational Catholic high school, and offers a college preparatory curriculum with a wide range of accelerated courses. Eastside Catholic High School offers options program for students suffering from special learning and developmental disorders. The Eastside Catholic community comprises more than 500 students, and over 80 faculty and staff members. The school is approved by the state of Washington, the Pacific Northwest Association of Independent Schools and the Northwest Association of Secondary Schools. It is also a member of the National Catholic Education Association.
