E9 Firehouse, located in Tacoma, WA, is a historical landmark that was originally built in 1907 to provide fire protection for the city's North End. The building served as a crucial station, transitioning from horse-drawn to mechanized equipment in 1919. After being abandoned in 1965 and facing vandalism, it was restored by Win Anderson and Bob Lane, now housing a tavern on the lower floor and an apartment on the second story.
Acquired by the Xitco and Paradise families in 2011, E9 Firehouse continues to stand as a testament to Tacoma's history and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
