The Dungeness Crab Festival, held annually in Port Angeles, Washington, celebrates the cultural heritage and maritime traditions of the Dungeness region. This three-day event, coinciding with Canadian Thanksgiving, attracts approximately 12,000 visitors, offering a vibrant array of live music, a vendor market, and engaging activities for families.
At the heart of the festival is the fresh-cooked Dungeness crab dinner, featuring locally-sourced crab, along with sides such as corn on the cob and coleslaw. Beyond the culinary offerings, attendees can enjoy free entertainment, educational experiences, and a sense of community while honoring the natural beauty of the Olympic Peninsula.
