Duke s Chowder House has come a long way since 1976 when founder Duke Moscrip broke away from his partnership in Ray s Boathouse to start the original Duke s Bar and Grill. In 1989 the company opened the first Duke s Chowder House. The restaurant maintains more than five locations throughout Washington.
