We are a traditional Kajukenbo school emphasizing self-defense and physical fitness. Classes are small. There is a lot of attention to individual training.SpecialtiesThe Kajukenbo Self-Defense Institute originates in the Palama Settlement of Oahu Hawaii. It was the first self-defense system created in America by Americans. Kajukenbo is based on Asian martial arts, Hawaiian Lua and American boxing. Kajukenbo was created after World War II. It is a self-defense system created for the public. It is based on realistic defense strategies and techniques. All instructors in Spokane are senior certified black belts. This school is a member of KSDI, AKA, KOA and KSDS. These associations certify Kajukenbo instructors to maintain integrity.
