Desert Hills Middle School

Desert Hills Middle School serves students in grades six through eight. It has various academic departments, such as language arts, mathematics, science and social studies. The school s staff is comprised of counselors, psychologists and speech pathologists. Desert Hills Middle School has an athletics department that offers a variety of sports activities, such as volleyball, cross country, soccer, football, wrestling, basketball, baseball, track and field and softball. It supports Spanish, drama, band, orchestra and chorus clubs. In addition, the school has a club, S.A.V.E., which provides education about the effects and consequences of violence, alcohol and other substances. Desert Hills Middle School s facilities include a gymnasium, wrestling room, playground, library, cafeteria and classrooms. It is located in Kennewick, Wash., and is a part of the Kennewick School District.
