Originally built in 1949, the Crest has been operating as a neighborhood theatre ever since. Equipped with widescreen capabilities in 1979. So successful were "bargain nights" at the Crest that by the late 1980s, it began running discount programming on a permanent basis.

I love that this theatre is small and has real butter on their popcorn. Also appreciate that they had the volume turned down during the preshow. Wish the bathrooms were a little bigger though.

Have been going here for years - their ticket prices have recently gone way up. They also gouge you with outrageous snack / popcorn prices...$11 for a small bag. Really bummed - hope they will...
