CDSI was started in 1978 by Dan Dietrich. We began with a small rural franchise area around Othello and Moses Lake with 3 employees and 2 old garbage trucks. CDSI quickly received the contract for the City of Othello, which we have serviced for over 30 years. In 2004, CDSI opened its Transfer StationRecycling Facility in Moses Lake. Dan retired and his son Michael took over the business in 2012.
