Located in Mount Vernon, Wash., the Skagit County Public Health Department offers a variety of programs for individuals and families. It provides a food protection program to prevent illnesses caused by the improper preparation of food. Clallam County Public Works Department is responsible for maintaining roads and drainage, open in all types of weather conditions and operating at an efficient level of service.
