History2010. I will never forget learning about cameras & photography first from my dad, although it wasn't until later in life when it became clear that I would follow in his footsteps and also make photography my life's passion. Over many years, through my own learning and then through formal photography training/education, I have honed my craft and my abilities. Now I am blessed enough to have my profession also be my life's passion. To this day I still feel that magic moment when I freeze a laughing baby's expression, or capture a newly wedded couple's joyful walk down the aisle, or take a family photograph that will evoke lasting memories for years to come.SpecialtiesI grew up with my father taking me on drives up into the mountains around the Pacific Northwest. I would sit and watch as he would get out his leather camera bag and his camera, lens, light meter, tripod, and we would set off to search for the perfect shot. Sometimes we would be out for hours until we found just the right light or just the right image. Then some adjustments to the camera and voila, a photograph that still evokes memories for me to this day. To this day I still feel that magic moment when I freeze a laughing baby's expression, or capture a newly wedded couple's joyful walk down the aisle, or take a family photograph that will evoke lasting memories for years to come. Since doing my first wedding in 1980, I have photographed and videotaped more than 500 weddings as well as countless family gatherings, groups, events, and graduating seniors.
