About Chinook Enterprises Chinook Enterprises is a social enterprise we are designed to operate like a business, but we have a social mission: Supporting full participation in community life for persons with disabilities or other barriers. Chinook Enterprises was started by Rob Martin in 1980 with a small grant and six participants. In 2010 we celebrate our 30th year! Our focus has remained very strong throughout the years we strive to gain not only competitive employment for persons with disabilities, but also inclusion in the community. Since 1980 we have helped place over 750 people in jobs. Chinook helps people live more productive and fulfilling lives through employment and inclusion.
