Basically a bar with big windows providing an excellent view of the river. The cook prepared extremely fresh local oysters just to our liking, which made the place a true "diamond in the rought".

ZERO STAR - Thursday night Horrible service clearly the bartender was under the influence! she couldn't even calm her nerves enough to take an order after waiting 18minutes for her to acknowledge...

Sat down wife ordered a drink. Waited 10 minutes. No drink asked for the waitress so we could pay and leave.paid and left . A dive bar has better service. Cash only.

Chester's isn't your typical city bar--it's the people bar. Grab some fried oysters, a bourbon, and a High Life. Play some pool, enjoy the tunes, soak it all in, and enjoy the ride.

Hands down the best breaded oysters on the planet, raw ones are on point as well, It's has amazing vibes of a true locals spot-- it's a must try
