Friends of the Centennial Trail is dedicated to advocating for the maintenance and completion of the Spokane River Centennial Trail, a 64-mile State Park and two-state National Recreation Trail cherished by residents and visitors of the Inland Northwest. Spanning from the WA ID state line through various scenic locations, the Trail offers a paved route for a variety of outdoor non-motorized recreational activities.
With initial construction commemorating the Washington State Centennial between 1989-1991, the Centennial Trail follows the contours of the Spokane River, providing access to breathtaking views and wild beauty. From the challenging western section in Riverside State Park to the urban and valley segments, the Trail offers diverse experiences for all who wish to explore this remarkable recreational resource.

I wish we had this nice of a trail system in every state!! It runs from the Spokane to Coeur d' Alene. I believe someone mentioned it was 44 miles long, but that could be wrong.

This is the ultimate and best running trail in the Spokane area. It goes for quite a ways but the best section of the trail is in and around Riverfront Park.
