Cascadia Region Earthquake Workgroup
The Cascadia Region Earthquake Workgroup (CREW) is a nonprofit coalition comprised of private, public, and academic partners dedicated to enhancing community resilience against earthquakes and related hazards, such as tsunamis. By fostering collaboration and raising awareness, CREW supports various earthquake studies and risk mitigation activities across the Cascadia region and the western United States.
Through initiatives like financial preparedness resources, educational webinars, and community engagement projects, CREW aims to improve the readiness of communities, businesses, and households to effectively respond to seismic events. Their commitment to developing safer buildings and stronger communities is reflected in their ongoing efforts to promote seismic strengthening and preparedness education.
