MariPili at Caf Frieda, co-founded by Chef Grayson Corrales and the Frye Art Museum in November 2023, honors matriarchs from both the chef's family and the museum's history. The café serves Galician-inspired sandwiches, salads, and small plates, complemented by a selection of wine, beer, and espresso.

Designed by artists Elizabeth Corkery and Graham McDougal, the café's interior creatively merges the coastal identities of Seattle and Galicia through custom textiles and murals. The establishment also pays tribute to Frieda Sondland, a passionate supporter of the museum, highlighting her contributions to art and community throughout her life in Seattle.
