History

I came to Portland for love, work and to get rid of my car. Originally started the studio on N.E Broadway with just myself. A year before I opened the studio on Broadway, while in a rental car I was rear-ended by a pdx police officer and ended up with bulging discs. Then a year later after healing from the 1st accident, I was in another car accident , this time with 4 bulging disc's and sciatic nerve damage. I designed a Dr approved backcare healing program which I am living,walking proof works! Healing my own body and helping others to recover from injury brought me to even more wholistic modalities, now we have grown into a non-profit BhaktiShala Shakti works, which includes other yoga practioners, and training programs for Pilates & services like life coaching, and Usui Reiki. The studio has moved to the SE and is now in my home where we have 3 movement rooms instead of 1, & can host larger community events. Come join us!
