Pathology Associates Medical Laboratories
Based in Spokane, Wash., Pathology Associates Medical Laboratories has been operational for more than 25 years. A division of Bourget Health Services, PAML is one of the leading medical laboratories in the United States. It has a state-of-the-art reference laboratory, and maintains other laboratory operations throughout the northwestern United States. Certified by the College of American Pathologists, PAML employs more than 100 pathologists, doctoral-level scientists, medical technologists and laboratory technicians. The laboratory provides a wide range of testing services to more than 100 hospitals in Washington, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Alaska and Wyoming. It offers a complete line of laboratory procedures, including testing in chemistry, immunology, hematology, serology, microbiology, virology, toxicology, cytogenetics, molecular biology, and electron microscopy. In addition to high-volume automated chemistry, hematology and immuno-analyzers, PAML s testing facilities provide modern emission spectroscopy, automated calculations, flow cytometry, automated image analysis of chromosome patterns, and procedures for HIV and hepatitis.
