Family Services of Grant County serves the Grant County communities of Moses Lake, Grand Coulee, Soap Lake and Ephrata . We offer family focused services including Head Start and Early Start programs and a Family Planning Clinic. These programs are federally funded and enable parents to be able utilize our services to improve the quality of life for their families. Additional services include health, dental and behavioral screenings, nutritious meals, transportation to and from school, parenting skills training and resources to help families be successful. Eligibility is based on federal income guidelines. Our Family Planning and Medical Clinic is open 9:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday provides free reproductive health care. Services include birth control, breast exams, sexually transmitted disease detection, education and treatment, We also offer annual exams and physicals, free pregnancy testing, health care referrals and ongoing care and education. No one is refused service because of lack of insurance or inability to pay.

Head Start, a nationally recognized program, offers comprehensive educational services and support to income-eligible families in Moses Lake and Ephrata, WA. With qualified staff, nutritious meals, health screenings, and a full preschool curriculum, Head Start enriches the lives of 110 children aged 3 to 5, while actively involving their families in their education. By providing access to educational materials and instruction, Head Start empowers parents to assist their children at home, helping them break the cycle of poverty and move towards self-sufficiency. Through its focus on personal and professional development, Head Start also equips parents with work and leadership skills, enabling them to contribute to the program and their own success.Generated from the website
