History

Best Walks by Farr was conceived in Seattle, WA, born in New Orleans in January 2011, and after years of work with wonderful pets and people in the Crescent City we have returned home to Seattle.

Specialties

I am an experienced dog trainer and pet sitter/walker with reasonable rates and excellent references. We love all pets and breeds, from puppies to seniors, angels to leash gremlins. Dog Training: All training is science-based, positive, and force-free, using rewards that are defined by what your dog finds motivating. You'll work with your dog without using intimidation, discomfort, or fear, and you'll get great results while building on the bond you already have. Clients complete an intake form and if I determine I'm a good fit we have a one hour in person evaluation ($75) from which I develop a training plan, including how many hour long in person sessions ($60 each) and half hour plan reviews/tune-ups ($25 each, by phone, e-mail, or Skype) I recommend. Small check-ins, adjustments, and questions are at no cost. Pet Sitting: NON-OVERNIGHT: $55/day - Includes three 15-30 minute walks, feeding/watering, medication administration, mail brought in, lights on/off, etc. OVERNIGHT: $65/day for roughly 10-12 hours overnight (includes non-overnight services) **Services for rescue/shelter animals receive a 10% discount Pet sitting (especially non-overnights) may be provided by myself or my co-owner/wife and is more limited in area and availability than training.
