History

Bellingham Dance Company was founded by Mary Simler Evans as a place where independent teachers could offer their love of dance to the Bellingham Community. As a place where people could come to learn dance from Knowledgable, Certified instructors in the various dance forms of Social, Competitive, Cultural and Traditional. With the help and support from our dance community we have been able to open up a dance floor, and continue to add upgrades for a truly unique and wonderful dance space!

Bellingham Dance Company offers a variety of Dance and Movement classes. By partnering with local independent instructors and our own high quality dance instructors, we can offer more for our community when it comes to dance. Our teachers specialize in: Swing Dancing - Many styles including EC Swing, WC Swing, Lindy Hop, Hustle and more and more... Ballroom Dancing - including, Waltz, Foxtrot, Tango, Viennese Waltz and more... Latin Dancing - including Salsa, Cha Cha, Rumba, Samba, Bachata and more... More Dance Styles - Hip Hop, Dance for Musical Theater, Belly Dance, Raggaeton, Swing Jazz and more... Dance Fitness - These classes are offered occasionally.
