Backstretch Clubhouse

History

The Backstretch Clubhouse was originally built purely through the work of volunteers and generous donations. We are the only child care center located on the property of a thouroughbred racing track in the US. We recently reopened in April of 2010, after a short break, and have been open year round ever since.

Specialties

The mission of the Backstretch Clubhouse Learning Center is to provide a safe, affordable, high quality childcare for the families of Emerald Downs and surrounding community. Our focus is to provide a stimulating early care and education experience, which promotes each child's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development. Our goal is to support children's desire to be life long learners. Because we are a non-profit childcare center we are able to offer financial aid to anyone who really needs it, through the help of fundraising and our generous donors. We are proud to accept families who may have been turned away from other centers for their inability to pay.
