Alpacas from Mars is a working alpaca ranch established in 2000. We raise huacaya alpacas for their luxurious, fine fleece. The alpacas are sheared once a year, then we hand process the fleece into rovings, batts, yarn, & felt products. Visitors can meet the alpacas, learn about our eco-friendly farm practices, and see how we process the fleece. Hands-on activities available. Farm Store. Groups welcome. Birthday parties and girls night out as well as fiber arts classes. Check our website for Open Farm Days, Special Events, and hours of operation. By appointment Thursday - Sunday, April - September.
