History
In 2004, Darren & Lawanda Council opened a small private school for the early learner, which expanded in 2008 to two additional schools serving ages 6 weeks-12. In 2006, Lawanda worked as Writer/Director/Producer for Real Life Productions and served as the Music Arts Director for Breath of Life Ministries in Charlotte, NC. We have found since moving to VA that everyone should be heard, everyone should feel confident and included, and through improv and inclusion, Youth Center Stage has been making a difference one student at a time.
Specialties
We believe that everyone has a voice. We pride ourselves in being a trendsetter in teaching communication through improv.
