Troop 51 is a highly active Boy Scout Troop located in Herndon, Virginia. Since 1995, they have been dedicated to building and growing character in youth through scouting. With a focus on fun, learning, and personal development, Troop 51 provides an outdoor environment where boys can learn valuable skills, gain self-confidence, and become responsible leaders in the community. Sponsored by Floris United Methodist Church, Troop 51 offers a youth-led program that allows scouts to plan campouts, activities, and ceremonies, fostering their leadership skills within the Boy Scouts of America framework. At Troop 51, scouts have the opportunity to participate in a variety of exciting activities and events, such as rock climbing, trail clean-ups, training with professional UFC trainers, and camping at Camp Highroad. The troop also places a strong emphasis on service to others and environmental awareness.
