History

The original founder, Mrs. Vivian Marie Peebles-Gilliam was one of the first Black beauticians in Emporia, Va. She established Vivian's Beauty Salon to help new stylist achieve their goals of becoming a hair stylist. She was a doctorand of hair and attended Dudley Cosmetology University. She taught many new stylist the art of cosmetology. Her son Marcus and daughter-in-law Monderray are keeping her legacy alive. They have introduced new services such as body contouring, non-invasive liposuction, lymphatic messages and yoni steaming.
