Forest Edge Elementary School

Forest Edge Elementary School, established in 1971, is a magnet school that has an annual enrollment of nearly 800 students in prekindergarten through sixth grade. It has an educational alliance with Siemens Enterprise Networks. In addition to the core courses, Forest Edge Elementary School conducts classes in special teaching and gifted and talented education, as well as the English for Speakers of Other Languages program. The school also maintains a TV Studio that is run by student crews with volunteer coordinators. Forest Edge Elementary School, located in Reston, Va., is a part of Fairfax County Public Schools, which is one of the largest school systems in Virginia with more than 163,000 students in over 200 educational institutions.
