For over 90 years, Virginia Symphony Orchestra has been one of the leading regional symphony orchestra in the United States. Based in Norfolk, Va., it annually performs classical, pops, family, education and outreach concerts. The firm also sells symphony recordings, which includes Sounds of the Season, Bruch Scottish Fantasy with Michael Ludwig, American Treasures, Live at Carnegie Hall, to name a few. Virginia Symphony Orchestra's education and community engagement department offers concerts, lectures, presentations, master classes, open rehearsals and student performances.
