HistoryWhen we first began the planning stages of the Village, we set out to create a high visibility local and tourist destination that would be a perfect location for an existing small business or a wonderful opportunity for those that always had a dream that needed the right home. We wanted to create a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere where you are able to spend a little time shopping, dining out, or just being able to take a few minutes out of a hectic day to sit and enjoy the peaceful sounds of our waterfall that is sure to help soothe the soul. In a world of bigger, faster, and quicker we decided to take a different approach to its design and size. It's a place where smaller and intimate create the perfect mood! As the Village grows we plan on adding the enjoyment of seasonal entertainment, such as concerts and festivals. Our goal is to be original and unique. We have combined established area businesses such as Jack Brown's, who has expanded from their well known Harrisonburg loSpecialtiesShopping, Dining, Relaxation

Established in 1967, WorldStrides is one of the largest accredited educational student travel companies in the United States. It provides a variety of educational travel programs to elementary, middle and high school students. The company serves more than 250,000 students every year. WorldStrides oversees a professional staff of over 300 employees. It designs a variety of interactive programs that enhance classroom instruction. The company offers various program options, including history, science, music and the performing arts. Its programs are accredited by the Commission on International and Transregional Accreditation (CITA).
