The Virginia Criminal Sentencing Commission, established in 1994 by the Virginia General Assembly, is dedicated to developing and maintaining the Sentencing Guidelines system to aid judges in making criminal sentencing decisions for felony offenders in the Commonwealth.

Through its website, the Commission provides access to sentencing guidelines worksheets, information on upcoming meetings, materials from past meetings, and the Virginia Crime Codes VCC for the convenience of legal professionals and the public.
